The Commissioner of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, through its State Lands Division (State Lands) previously awarded 5-year leases for the 2025-2030 Hunting Lease cycle pursuant to a Complete Announcement of Auction for Hunting Leases dated April 17, 2025, and Invitation for Bids for Hunting Leases dated September 26, 2025 (Hunting Lease Announcement). State Lands is now accepting written bids via email for tracts that did not successfully lease pursuant to the Hunting Lease Announcement or are otherwise currently available for 4-year leases during the 2026-2030 Hunting Lease cycle which ends June 30, 2030.
