Archery I - This is a Beginners Archery Class which provides step by step instruction on shooting a bow at 3-D targets, establishing a good understanding of range estimation and tree stand safety. Learn how to fit and choose bows and arrows. Participants will have plenty of time to hone shooting skills at the range. A favorite among participants!
Archery II - An introduction to the game of 3-D archery and a more in-depth discussion on how to purchase a bow that fits you and meets your needs. Basic Genesis bows will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring your own if you have one. Prerequisite: Archery I
Pistol I - This class is an introduction to handgun safety and skills; includes instruction on the components of semi-auto pistols and revolvers; and builds practical marksmanship skills through live fire exercises. (Handguns will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own with 100 rounds of ammunition.)
Pistol II - Further developing knowledge learned in Pistol 1, this class provides information on choosing a pistol or revolver and strengthens safe handling and marksmanship skills through live fire exercises. (Handguns will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own with 100 rounds of ammunition.) Prerequisites: Pistol 1
Pistol III - A more advanced look at handguns, this class discusses the mindset required for owning a handgun for protection; the ability to hit a target at close range; and instructs firearm manipulations that address possible problems when shooting. (Handguns will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own with 100 rounds of ammunition.) Prerequisites: Pistol 1 & Pistol II
Riflery - Learn firearms safety and basic marksmanship skills. Learn rifle types, calibers and actions such as target rifles and popular hunting rifles. Enjoy fun and action on the firing range!
Air Rifle - Want to learn firearms marksmanship but not a fan of noise? Then the air rifle class is for you! Learn firearms safety and basic marksmanship skills while shooting pellet rifles at stationary paper and clay targets.
Shotgun I - Learn the basic types of shotguns, as well as how to load, shoot, and clean shotguns. Skeet shooting session provides opportunity to practice. This course is a real BLAST!
Shotgun II - Ready to test your skills learned in Shotgun I session? Advanced skeet shooting session teams ladies up for fun and friendly competition. Prerequisite: Shotgun I
Firearm Fears? Get a Grip! - A fear of guns is natural. This class uses non-firing firearms to teach a healthy respect for guns, safe handling practices and etiquette, and cleaning techniques to care for or create those family heirlooms. Get information on choosing a gun for a specific use and safe storage in the home. Classroom setting.
