Stewardship is the management of ecosystems to maintain or improve structure, function, and resiliency. Stewardship at the Reserve is informed and facilitated by collective input from on-site research and monitoring, scientific publications, advisory and technical boards, and citizen groups. Good stewardship practices are utilized to protect, enhance, and restore ecological integrity for long- term research, education, training, and management.
