STATUS:
Fairly common to uncommon in fall and spring in Tennessee Valley and Mountain regions. In Inland Coastal Plain region, uncommon in spring and fall. In Gulf Coast region, uncommon in fall and rare in spring.
HABITAT:
Found in woodlands, especially in understory.
