The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (ADCNR) is upgrading your license experience. In partnership with Tyler Technologies and OneOutdoors, we are launching a modernized licensing and account management platform designed specifically for Alabama’s hunters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
Whether you are tracking your harvest in the woods, registering a saltwater catch at the coast, or purchasing an annual or lifetime privilege, our new system brings everything together onto a single, secure, and easy-to-use dashboard.
Important Notice: Hunting and fishing license sales & harvest reporting will be on a temporary pause starting July 13, 2026 for a system upgrade.
License System Transition Timeline: July 13 – 15, 2026
To safely move our records to the new platform, our current licensing system must temporarily go offline. Please review the dates below and plan your upcoming trips and license purchases accordingly:
- Monday, July 13 at 6:00 a.m. CT: The current system will close.
- July 13 – 15: License purchases and mandatory harvest reporting (Game Check and Snapper Check) will be completely unavailable online, via mobile apps, or at local retail agents.
- Thursday, July 16 (Anticipated): OneOutdoor goes live to the public!
What’s New with OneOutdoor?
When the platform launches, you will enjoy a much smoother experience:
- One-Time Account Setup: Create a secure profile once, and use it to log in, renew, or view your licenses instantly in the future.
- Flexible Login Options: Your profile will display either a Customer ID, Conservation ID, or Driver's License. You can use either one to look up your account.
- Easy Document Uploads: Skip the paperwork. You can now securely upload military and disability documentation directly through your online account for specific license types.

While we transition to our new platform, MyOutdoorAlabama.com is temporarily unavailable. However, you can still easily purchase your hunting and fishing licenses or register your harvest through the following alternative methods:
1. Purchase Your License Online:
You can access our alternative secure purchasing portal directly at OutdoorAlabama.com
2. Use the Outdoor Alabama Mobile App
The official Outdoor Alabama app remains fully functional for license purchases, game checking, and harvest registration.
3. Purchase In-Person
Licenses remain available for purchase across the state at your convenience:
- Local County Probate Offices & License Vendors
- Select Local Bait & Tackle Shops, Hardware Stores, and Outfitters
- Major Retailers (e.g., Walmart, Academy Sports + Outdoors)
