Uncommon to fairly common in spring, summer, and fall in Inland Coastal Plain. In Tennessee Valley, fairly common in spring, summer, and fall, and occasional in winter. In Gulf Coast region, fairly common in spring, uncommon in fall, and rare in winter and summer. In Mountain region, uncommon in spring, rare in summer and fall, and occasional in winter. MODERATE CONSERVATION CONCERN.
HABITAT:
Found in weedy, brushy, and cultivated fields.
