Weeks Bay Reserve has become an important source of information and recreation for thousands of visitors each year. Much of the success of the Reserve in meeting its goals has been due to the efforts of dedicated volunteers.
Volunteers assist in the operation of the Visitor Center, provide staff support for public events, and assist with education and research programs. This diverse group includes naturalists, retired educators, local residents and others interested in sharing their knowledge of Weeks Bay Reserve.
