STATUS:
Breeder. Common in spring, summer, and early fall in Tennessee Valley. In Gulf Coast region, fairly common in spring, summer, and fall. In Mountain and Inland Coastal Plain regions, uncommon to locally fairly common in spring, summer, and fall. Lowest Conservation Concern.
HABITAT:
Found in open habitats near water. Nests on dams and bridges.
