Uncommon to fairly common in spring, locally uncommon to rare in summer and fall, and occasionalin winter in Gulf Coast region. In Mountain and Inland Coastal Plain regions, rare in spring, and occasional to rare in summer and fall. Occasional in spring and winter in Tennessee Valley region. MODERATE CONSERVATION CONCERN.
HABITAT:
Found in brushy areas, especially near water.
