STATUS:
Breeder. Common in winter, spring, and fall in Gulf Coast region. In Inland Coastal Plain, fairly common in fall, uncommon in winter and spring. In Tennessee Valley and Mountain regions, fairly common in fall, uncommon in spring, and rare in winter and summer. Lowest Conservation Concern.
HABITAT:
Found in farmlands, thickets, and suburban yards with dense hedgerows.
