Mucket Actinonaias ligamentina. Rare. Restricted to Tennessee River drainage. Apparently rare even prior to impoundment. Possibly the only populations remaining are in Second and Shoal creeks, Lauderdale County. Restricted to shoal habitats. HIGHEST CONSERVATION CONCERN.
Pheasantshell Actinonaias pectorosa. Extirpated. Endemic to Cumberlandian Region. Historically occurred in Tennessee River downstream to Muscle Shoals. Not reported since the river was impounded. Limited to shoal habitats. EXTIRPATED.
