STATUS:
Breeder. Uncommon to locally common in spring, summer, and fall, and rare in winter in all regions. MODERATE CONSERVATION CONCERN.
HABITAT:
Found in open and semi-open areas, grasslands, fields, cities, and towns. Often heard at dusk or at night around ball field lights foraging on flying insects.
