Breeder. Common in spring, summer, and fall, and rare in winter in Gulf Coast region. In other regions, occasional in spring, summer, and fall. Low Conservation Concern.
HABITAT:
Found in shallow lakes, grassy marshes, pools, flooded fields, and on mudflats.
