Tennessee Pigtoe Pleuronaia barnesiana. Local and uncommon. Endemic to Cumberlandian Region. Distributed across northern Alabama. Extant in a few tributaries, but extirpated from Tennessee River proper. Limited to shoal habitats. HIGH CONSERVATION CONCERN.
