Notice is hereby given to all interested parties that sealed per unit bids for the purchase and removal of timber will be received by the Commissioner of the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division (DCNRWFF) at the Barbour WMA headquarters office, 188 Christa Drive, Midway, AL 36053 until 3:30 P.M.
Central Standard Time (CST), on August 19, 2025.
The timber to be sold is located on the following described lands:
Timber to be harvested consists of approximately 43 +/- acres of timber located in Section 2, Township 11 North, Range 25 East; approximately 108 +/- acres of timber located in Sections 2, 3, 8, 10, and 11, Township 11 North, Range 26 East; and approximately 598.1 +/- acres of timber located in Sections 19, 20, 26, 27, 34, 35, and 36, Township 12 North, Range 26 East, all in Barbour County, Alabama, on the Barbour Wildlife Management Area.
