Description: Lake Eufaula is a 45,181 acre reservoir located on the Chattahoochee River along the border of southwest Georgia and southeast Alabama. The reservoir is formed by Walter F. George Dam, owned and operated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers office is located in Ft. Gaines, Georgia (229-768-2516), and a satellite office is located in Eufaula.
Licenses: Anglers between the ages of 16 and 65 are required to possess either a current Alabama State fishing license or a Georgia state fishing license.
