The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources’ (ADCNR) State Lands Division will temporarily close the Ted Middleton Boat Ramp in Mobile County for repairs in the coming weeks. The boat ramp is located on Battleship Parkway directly across from the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park in Mobile, Alabama.
During the closure, damage to the facility caused by recent storms will be repaired. Additional renovations include improvements to the parking area and boat ramp. The existing docks will also be expanded to accommodate additional vessels. The work is expected to begin in late May or early June and take 60 days to complete, weather permitting.
When a reopening date for the facility is confirmed, it will be announced on the Outdoor Alabama Facebook page at www.facebook.com/OfficialOutdoorAlabama.
