Project Wild Facilitator Training

The Alabama Cooperative Extension System is holding a facilitator workshop for Project Wild on May 30-31, 2018.

A facilitator is someone trained by the State Coordinator to conduct Project WILD workshops for both formal and informal educators using at least one of the Project WILD environmental education guides (Project WILD, Aquatic WILD, Flying WILD, and Growing Up WILD).

This workshop is for any adult who has the skills to conduct workshops for informal and formal educators, loves nature and teaching others about the natural environment, and is willing to work as a volunteer in fulfilling facilitator duties including reporting directly to the State Coordinator.

Once a facilitator completes training, he/she will work with the State Coordinator to offer educator workshops as needed within Alabama.

Cost: $25 and pre-registration is required.
