Students from McDavid-Jones Elementary School learned a variety of information at the 4-H fishing workshop.

Look what I caught!

Students learned proper casting techniques from Mr. James Miles, ACES.

It's a messy job, but someone has to do it!

Now what do we do?

Cleaning off the bass before cleaning the bass.

See, I am helping.

Students also learned great fish cleaning techniques.

McDavid-Jones Elementary holds the first Mobile County 4-H Youth Sportfishing Training Event in Citronelle, Alabama.

Thank you Mrs. Deborah Darrington (Kindergarten teacher), Mrs. Mandy Marks (Science and Environmental Education Instructor) and Mr. James Miles (ACES) for conducting the event.  Thank you Mrs. Mandy Marks for sending us your photos.  Those who did not eat their catch enjoyed catfish courtesy of the Mobile Chapter of the Alabama Farmers Federation.
