Conservation Advisory Board to Hold Work Session October 12

The Alabama Conservation Advisory Board will hold a work session Tuesday, October 12, 2004 in Montgomery. The session, which is open to the public, will begin at 10:30 a.m. in room 319 of the Folsom Administrative Building at 64 North Union Street.

Topics on the agenda include game breeders, raising game violation fines, youth licenses, increases in license sales and fees, and a general discussion.

According to Conservation Commissioner Barnett Lawley, no voting will take place and there will be no public comments. “This meeting is simply a chance for advisory board members to hold a discussion about important issues. I commend them for taking steps to improve the rules-making process that’s been in place since 1982 by conducting this work session.”
