Technical Assistance for Wildlife Management

Technical Assistance for Wildlife Management
Wildlife Section Biologists are available to provide technical assistance to Alabama landowners for management of game and nongame animals and wildlife habitats within the state. Questions concerning wildlife management can be answered by telephone, mail, email, or FAX as appropriate. Information is available in the form of pamphlets, booklets and other publications to address many wildlife management topics of interest to landowners.
If needed, a Wildlife Section Biologist may arrange to visit the property in question to make observations and provide more specific information concerning management of wildlife in accordance with the landowner’s goals and interests. If you have questions concerning subjects such as management for deer, wild turkey, quail, doves, waterfowl, songbirds or other wildlife contact the district office that covers the county where the land to be managed is located.
