Paint Creek
County: Coosa Location: From Rockford, travel north on Highway 231 for approximately 11 miles and take a left on County Road 56. Follow for approximately 6 miles to Weogufka, continuing straight at the stop sign. Stay on County Road 56 for another 10 miles until coming to a second stop sign in Marble Valley. Take a left at County Road 5 and continue south toward Hidden Valley for 4.4 miles (please note that the paved road eventually turns to gravel and all roads beyond this point are also gravel, some of which are difficult to maneuver while pulling a boat due to numerous sharp turns). After this distance (4.4 miles), turn left on an un-named road before arriving at Hidden Valley. Then take the first right turn and continue on this road which will eventually lead to the boat ramp.
