Richard Kennedy caught this 5-pound, 14-ounce smallmouth bass on April 1, 2000. It would have been a lake record had he caught it during the program. He was fishing near Guntersville Dam using a purple Zoom lizard tied to Stren Clear Blue monofilament fishing line. The purpose of his trip was to take his nephew fishing. Take a kid fishing with you, perhaps you will catch a big one. If not, at least you will have a friend for life.
