Catching hybrids at Lake Eufaula
Hybrid striped bass are popular when they school.


Lake Eufaula is not known for its catfish, but it should be. Great fishing for catfish.

Eufaula Bas
Some bass were caught during the spring of 2011 at the Potato Creek Bass Master’s Tournament.


Lake Eufaula has lots of bass. Largemouth bass have a size restriction, but spotted bass may be kept regardless of size.

 
Ernest Timpson caught the Georgia record blue catfish from Lake Eufaula on February 2, 2010. It weighed 80 pounds and 4 ounces.

Black crappie
are a popular catch at Lake Eufaula.


Spotted bass can produce some fast action at Lake Eufaula.


This mean looking chain pickerel was caught in Lake Eufaula by Richard M. Praeger's father-in-law on March 27, 2010.
