Project Summary/Goals:
The objective of the grant is to establish approximately 950 acres of longleaf regeneration that are free to grow.

This grant agreement is entered into by and between the Alabama Forestry Commission (AFC) and the Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources Division of Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries (DCNR-WFF). The period of performance of this grant shall begin August 3, 2009 and the programs and projects funded by the grant shall be completed by May 31, 2012. The amount of money awarded under this Grant Agreement shall not exceed $235,350.

DCNR-WFF has submitted an anticipated work plan as shown in the table below. It is noted that not all activities may be used on all acres.
