Registration

Registration for the 2014 youth dove hunts in the September and October should begin at 8:00 AM on August 15, 2014 and September 19, 2014 respectively. Please click here for a pdf file explaining the process to register for the youth dove hunts.

The registration process is done in 3 steps:

  • Step 1 involves entering the adult mentor information, i.e. name, date of birth, drivers license number, and last 4 digits of your SSN.
  • Step 2 involves entering the name and date of birth for the youth participants.
  • Step 3 involves choosing the hunts you want to attend.

The registration software is programmed to automatically send each participant an email 4 days prior to each hunt containing directions and a google map to the hunt location. Directions to each field, start time, and other pertinent information will be emailed to the registrants approximately 3 days prior to each hunt.

In the past, Harvest Information Program (HIP) stickers have been available at youth dove hunts. HIP stickers are no longer available at youth dove hunts. All youth dove hunt participants of license buying age will need to visit our licensing site, probate judges office, or other license agents to obtain a free HIP sticker prior to arriving at a youth hunt. Before each hunt there will be a short welcome session with reminders of hunting safety precautions. Dove hunting will begin immediately afterwards.
